Against the stunning backdrop of the 2,941-metre Hochkönig, the Hochkönig ski area awaits, including Maria Alm, Dienten, and Mühlbach. Maria Alm is the perfect base for exploring the Hochkönig ski area, with 120 kilometres of slopes, 30 km of cross-country trails, illuminated sledge runs and ice rinks, as well as scenic winter walking paths and horse-drawn sleigh rides. Many international FIS ski teams also train here because of the variety on offer.

he Hochkönig ski area is part of the Ski Amadé network, which offers 760 km of pistes and 270 lifts and cable cars. It has runs for all levels, off-piste opportunities, fun parks, and plenty of skiing fun.
