Everything you need to know about AlpinLodges Maria Alm

The reception is open daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. (During the mid-season, the reception is closed daily from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.)

Please check in at the reception upon arrival. There you will receive the key to your booked apartment and further information. If you plan to arrive outside reception opening hours, please contact us in advance.

You are welcome to enjoy the resort facilities for the rest of the day.

Please leave your accommodation swept clean, take out any rubbish, and empty the dishwasher.

The resort itself is car-free. The entrance to the underground parking garage is located right next to the reception. Upon arrival, you will be assigned at least one parking space according to the size of your booked apartment. The apartment number corresponds to the parking space. Each accommodation has its own private access to the garage, including an elevator.

For guests arriving with an electric vehicle, charging stations are available directly in front of the entrance. Please note that these are independent of AlpinLodges Maria Alm. Depending on the charging provider, a parking fee may apply. We are not involved and do not receive any commission. For this reason, we recommend moving your vehicle once charging is complete.

Please note that when travelling by car in Austria, you are required to have a motorway vignette and a warning vest on motorways and expressways. Vignettes can be purchased from most automobile clubs, at motorway service stations near the border, or online as a digital vignette.

The section of road from the Austrian border at Kufstein to the Kufstein-Süd motorway exit (A12) is vignette-free. This means you can reach the Hochkönig region and our resort conveniently without a vignette. You can also drive vignette-free via Lofer (then motorway exit 115 – Bad Reichenhall on the A8).

Your apartment is ready from 16:00. However, you are welcome to arrive earlier and use the resort facilities or explore the surrounding area. We are happy to provide tips and recommendations.

On your departure day, we kindly ask that you vacate your apartment by 10:00 and return the key cards to reception. Of course, you are still welcome to use the resort facilities after checking out.

If you would like an early check-in or late check-out, please contact the reception. We will be happy to check whether this is possible for an additional charge.

Bed linen is included in all apartments, and the beds will be made ready for your arrival, making your stay even more comfortable!

Towels are included as standard with bookings for Luxury Apartments. For Comfort Apartments, you can add a towel package for an additional charge when making a non-binding booking request. Each towel package includes 2 towels in different sizes.

Yes, you can use free Wi-Fi everywhere in the resort.

Yes, pets are welcome in some selected apartments at the resort. A maximum of 2 pets per apartment is allowed. Please check the apartment details or mention your pets when making a booking enquiry. Our reception team will be happy to provide information about any applicable fees.

Please also note that dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the Maria Alm area.

The resort will be closed on the following dates:

Sunday, 8 November 2026 to Thursday, 10 December 2026

Summer Season (10 May 2025 – 9 November 2025):
The mountain lifts in the Hochkönig region operate daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. At least one of the six summer lifts, including its mountain experience area, is open every day. You can also explore the mountains by bike and use the lifts’ bike transport service.

Winter Season 2025/2026:
The winter season starts on 5 December 2025 and is expected to run until 6 April 2026, depending on snow and weather conditions.

The Natrunbahn is 550 metres from the resort and can be reached on foot in the summer or by the free ski bus in the winter. The bus stop is located directly at the resort. Behind House 2, there is also a short walk to the nearest drag lift.

You can easily purchase your ski pass at our reception. We are also happy to provide helpful tips so you can enjoy your ski days stress-free.

A booking office for the Maria Alm Ski School is located in House 8 of our resort. The Intersport Maria Alm shop, offering ski rental, is also located there.

Directly at the resort, you can rent complete winter sports equipment in winter and the latest bike trends in summer from our partner, Intersport Maria Alm! With the newest models from top brands, nothing stands in the way of your sporting enjoyment.
